Jardines de la Reina is a marine preserve located 50 miles off the southern coast of Cuba. The crocodiles are called the engineers of the mangroves because their activity creates and maintains channels that enhance circulation through the dense ecosystem. Gardens of the Queen is a window back in time to Caribbean reefs drenched in fish, roaming groupers and abundant super predators such as sharks and crocodiles.
