“What I like about Paris is that it’s got a slower pace; it’s essentially closed on Sundays. After living in New York for so many years, that was always really appealing – and now that I’ve moved back home to Saint Lucia, it resonates with me even more. The thing is, you get a bit of both worlds in Paris: you get a bit of it being cosmopolitan city like New York, but at the same time you get a slower pace like Saint Lucia, so it’s a nice balance. The other thing that I really like is that everything is beautiful: everything is packaged beautifully, the windows are beautiful and there are still all these little shops everywhere. There’s a real attention to aesthetics here, and I really like that detail.”
