I feel like there isn’t any compromise when it comes to her vision: Miu Miu is so sophisticated in the way that it tells its story, all the way from the concept down to the very last detail when you walk out the store with the product. There’s a whole world around it, it’s not just fantasy. On the one hand, fashion can be seen as superficial – but on the other, it can be a real temperature test as to what is going on both culturally and politically. In my opinion, Mrs Prada is not only able to read it, but able to report on it through fashion; it’s always about exploring ideas and using clothes as a canvas.”
