Image by @markosian - It's 12 years to the day since a group of terrorists took more than 1,200 people hostage in School No.1 in Beslan, a small town in the Russian republic of North Ossetia. The hostage lasted for three days, leaving more than 334 people dead. Among them parents, teachers, and more than half, children. Every year, on the anniversary, a group of graduates from School No.1 release white balloons, in honor of those killed. #beslan #russia #magnumphotos
