Of the numerous stories I've done for the Amazing Yellow Bordered magazine, one story on the culture and history of sugar never ran, the text of the story shifting into the consumption of sugar -- alas, such things do happen. Visiting ten counties to produce visual narrative, I remember the kindness of these gentlemen, their hard work and dedication, toiling under the sun as birds sang overhead in a beautiful country I once called home.
