1992--my dad doing business in Peshawar Pakistan a few years before I was born.
My dad was an incredible man. His line of work and passion for travel brought me and my sister to places all over the world throughout our childhood that we never would have seen, otherwise. We were out of the country more often than we were in it. My father truly believed that travel, culture, exposure and connectivity to people in other places and different walks of life was the most important form of education. And for that, I couldn't be more grateful. I know I am at home, no matter where I am! And strangers are my family, no matter who they are and what culture and beliefs they belong to. Even though he is no longer with us, I am still getting to know him and discovering parts of him within myself as I get older, and because of that, I know he is never gone from me. I love you, dada.
