A large whale shark cruises just beneath the surface off the coast of Western Australia. Whale sharks are the largest fish in the ocean, though recently reports have stated that the largest of whale sharks are rarely seen these days. To me, swimming with one of these animals is like being with a dinosaur. I remember floating in the water as this shark approached, materializing out the blue and silently swam past me.
