The Schloss Neuhaus with surrounding moat and gardens were spared by allied bombers, which leveled some 85% of the town at the end of WW2. The stables for the castle are in the upper right, and for the next two months will have my Desert Air exhibit on display. It’s an unusual venue for exhibit of aerial photos from all the world’s extreme deserts, but the site is a beautiful window into pre-war German architecture.
