Photo by @stephenwilkes: Dutch politicians have just voted through a historic motion, calling to ban sales of all gasoline and diesel cars beginning in 2025.
The legislation would mean that come 2025, existing gas cars would be allowed on roads, until hopefully becoming obsolete due to electric only car sales.
This potential new law gives hope to the movement to preserve our precious Earth, and reinforces the need to always consider the environmental impact of our actions.
I am here in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, photographing this beautiful and forward thinking city for my newest Day to Night.
Seen here is a reflection of the amazing view that I am capturing for the final image!
To create the finished piece, I will photograph the same scene continuously for + 16 hours, then digitally blend the city's transition from day to night, capturing the changing of time in one single image.
