Opportunity.
It knocks-sometimes in quiet taps and other times, with banging fists.
There are instances when opportunity can be patient, allowing us to logically analyze and produce a calculated decision; but other times, there are knocks that leave no time for logic. These opportunities, which are often the most crucial of our lives, require intuition, passion and a clear vision of what you want for yourself in life.
They say we are "the sum of our choices", and I say that carries a lot of weight. How do we know which opportunities are the ones worth taking?
My biggest obstacle where opportunity is concerned is differentiating between my fear of something new or challenging, and my gut telling me that it's not the path for me.
In business, I've learned about "visionary companies"-companies that have a very defined vision set at the heart of everything they do. Every decision that they make, every partnership that they form, and every project that they embark on is forged upon this clear and defined vision. They have high standards for themselves and of the other companies and individuals that they do business with.
When I read about visionary companies, I decided that I didn't only want to create my brand in that light, but I wanted to be a visionary individual as well. Defining the core vision for my life and then taking the opportunities that align with that vision will help guide me on my life's path. Will it always prevent me from making the wrong decisions? No, but just because you make a wrong turn in life doesn't mean you can't make it to your end destination. What's a road trip without a few bumps and u-turns?

What's worse than making the wrong decision is the inability to make any decisions at all. Don't get complacent. You're capable of more if more is what you want.
So my question to you is:
Are you in or out? Take it or leave it.
It's time to shit or get off the pot.
