Now THAT'S a valentine.
We're only a little jealous of this elaborate design from the early 1900s. It was made in Germany but became part of a Pennsylvania love story.
David Ream spent a whole dollar on this card for his wife Marion—much more than the "penny" valentines that were exchanged by school kids those days.
She displayed it on the family mantle every year for #ValentinesDay, and now it's in the collection of our @国立アメリカ歴史博物館.
