In honour of Georges Méliès, a groundbreaking pioneer in film and also one of my favourite artists, as well as the inspiration behind the new @blackwing Volumes 1138 pencil, which is now at the very top of my wish list (and one if the most gorgeous pencils I've ever beheld). In light of this extraordinary news, I sketched this Méliès iconic moon piece using a classic @blackwing pencil from my favourite pencil shop @cwpencilenterprise (that I won from @efdot #summerofsketching giveaway, which wasn't just a contest but a pivotal point in my journey on so many cylinders) my one true Confidant by @baronfig (whose sketchbook paper is among my absolute fave for pencil drawings).
