Possibly the oldest soba restaurant in #Kyoto, this 550 years old brand that started out as a confectionery store and later on soba noodles since the Imperial household days.
So I guessed they should be good right? Sadly I was rather let down with the mediocre soba noodles and tempura that left oily aftertaste. Maybe it was just my luck that day.
By the way they don't allow pictures of their food, I was stopped after taking this shot ?? (even though I saw people taking with their phones, guess my camera was more prominent)
