AT&T Ballpark, San Francisco, CA. Say, Hey, any SF Giants fans out there? I photographed the ballpark and the outlet of Mission Creek,now known as McCovey Cove, to show development along the SF Bay shoreline. This was one time when a nosebleed seat was the was to go. The photograph was taken this Sept. 11 during a moment of remembrance with all the players on the field, the fans standing, and the fire boat displaying. The stadium and all of Mission Bay is built on bay fill, which occurred during the Gold Rush era. Photo by @peteressick on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック.
