I knew that finding these elusive coastal wolves would prove challenging, but I never expected it to be nearly impossible! After weeks of sitting motionless in a blind, the den mother brought her pups in front of me and proceeded to nap while they played. It was worth the wait as they are about the cutest creatures I have ever seen. Imagine how excited I got when I saw the pups pick up and start playing with an eagle feather that was laying in the intertidal zone.
