Pictured here is Patrick Le Bescont who was a self-taught photographer before embarking on an adventure as editor and founder of Filigranes. Patrick founded the French publishing company in 1988 out of his desire to publish his own images. Over the last 27 years, Filgranes has published over 580 works, featuring over 250 photographers and just as many different authors.

This portrait of Patrick was captured in our mobile studio at the Recontres d'Arles photography festival (@recontresarles) by Maria Letizia Piantoni, an award-winning Italian photographer who is now based in Paris.
