Our followers appreciate that we use their photos and are really excited when we share one of theirs. Using Instagrammer’s photos offers an authentic view of Britain. ________________________________________Q: What motivated your choice to join Iconosquare? A: We knew right from the start that we would need to report on our performance on Instagram, so we researched companies and Iconosquare seemed to cover off all of our requirements. The monthly reports are really useful to see our engagement and where our followers are from. We also use the optimisation tool to make sure that we’re posting images at the best times. ________________________________________Q: On your last 100 media posted, none of them are videos. Why? Is managing your account with pictures more efficient than videos? A: Video is an important part of our marketing strategy for this year, so we’ll definitely be testing it on Instagram. We currently don’t have access to a lot of video that would be appropriate for Instagram. Additionally, the Instagrammers that tag #LoveGreatBritain only tag their photos, they don’t tag videos. That said, we have just commissioned some timelapse videos, so we’ll be testing videos in the near future.
