Two people sit on a picnic table in the refreshing waters around Havasu Falls. These falls plunge nearly 100 feet into the the blue-green pools below. The water, which stays around 70 degrees all year long, contains high mineral content and carbonate precipitate, which accounts for the striking pools and natural dams in the valley.
