His father, also 17, left when she told him she was expecting their child. This story inspired @christian_foto to work on the most personal project he has done as a photographer, a series called “Teen Mom.” His images include scenes of young girls in labor, contrasted with them holding their infant the next day. “It was important to show them as mothers,” he said. #nytweekender
