It may be the law of entropy that tears things apart, but it is only intention that brings them together. This goes out to all of you dreamers out there. It’s concrete steps time. It’s time to map this strategy out. It’s time to define the hustle. It’s time to find your fellow travelers. It’s time to recognize that however strong you are alone, you're orders of magnitude stronger as part of a team. And whether we’re talking about your marriage or your business, the same rules apply. If you’re going to pull this off, if you’re going to thread the needle of success, you need to draw close to you those who can help - those who are fighting the same fight. Those with the same blood stains on their face, & the same dirt under their nails. You’ll recognize them when you see them. They are fellow warriors. They have that light in their eyes. But things come together. Things fall apart. The trick is keeping them together long enough to storm the gates of success. This #TBT photo isn’t a photo of 3 people. It’s a photo of brotherhood itself. It’s years of struggle & turmoil. It’s years of injury & scars. It’s a shared experience. It’s a glimpse into how ambition, drive & a sworn oath to protect manifests as joy. We’ve had our backs against the wall a thousand times, but we were never alone. Find your pack. They will defend you when you’re weak. And you get the glory of defending them when they stumble. You get the joy of helping someone you love back to their feet when they’ve been dropped to their knees. People say it’s lonely at the top. I say it’s only lonely if you’ve designed it to be. No matter how you define the success you’re chasing, I promise a key to that success is going to be building a family around your mission. Build your family & set about defeating entropy. Because things come together, & things fall apart. But if you invest in each other as people and apply enough effort, you can keep things together long enough to accomplish even the wildest of dreams.
