Sent Mystic Stylez [8b+] yesterday with a last try best try effort, what a surprise!! Had some nice temps after the rain, but the forest was still quite wet, so expectations weren't very high. The problem is only five hands moves, but theres crazy shit to do with your feet as well, so its very short; fell about six times going for the jump at the end, prolly 60 more just slipping off the middle, another 10 times just trying to move the feet...Needless to say I was super worked, and the towel was already thrown! Just for old times sake, pulled on for one last go as the darkness set in, and BAM!!! Crazy!!! Its easy to think climbing is about power and conditions, but sometimes its just a concept of head space and executing the proper positons. I love it!!
