Why did I recover?

I recovered for the girl who never thought she’d be good enough for herself.
I recovered for the girl who was bounded by rigidity and perfectionism, who starved to feel beautiful, yet could never measure up to anorexia’s deceitful rule.

I recovered for the girl who deserved to live freely and vivaciously
I recovered for the girl who deserved to feel fulfilled, not deprived.

This girl dreamed of recovery, and alongside these dreams, her heart was enthused with a burning desire for growth.
With that, seeds were planted.

Day by day, she nurtured these seeds with self-love, self-acceptance, and self-forgiveness.
Today, where there was once seeds, flowers grows in their place. 🌻 Love yourselves, Warriors 💜
