Last week, Hawaiian charger Kohl Christensen saw a big purple blob in the Western Pacific, and did what any self-respecting big-wave freesurfer would do: made the trek to P-Pass. As you can see, it was big. "Some bombs started coming through in the afternoon," he said. "My brother Nick,Orion Barels and myself flew down for the swell.
