Lydia Pearl Finnell may have made this parlor throw in 1899 for her trousseau. It has 82 patches of fabric and is extensively adorned. The central irregular patches are framed by an eight-pointed star made of 2-3/8" strips of black silk pile, giving it the name "Star Quilt." #TextileTuesday #Cozy #Quilt
