Photo by @stevewinterphoto. A cougar cub stretches outside the cave it's mother uses for safely and warmth in Wyoming’s Gros Ventre Wilderness. The cub was fitted with a self-adjusting radio-tracking collar (which explains the wire hanging from its neck) by field biologist from The Teton Cougar Project to track its movement and better understand their lives. Here in Hoboken, New Jersey we woke up to less than a foot of snow on the ground from winter storm #Juno. Nothing major compared to other parts of New England.
I'm looking forward to shaking off these winter chills in San Diego next month where I'll be attending NANPA's Nature Photography Summit and Trade Show.
