Spending time with bears in the wild always teaches me something of value, especially when large males like this one stare right through me. Masters of their ecosystems, they are truly omniscient about their surroundings. I always make my presence known so as not to startle them and I know that if treat them with respect, they will often let me into their world. Like a fly on the wall, I love quietly clicking my shutter while they go about their lives doing all the amazing things bears do.
