The swell is part of the greater Colorado plateau and is a labyrinth of sandstone domes and canyons and home to many endemic plants. Although proposals have been submitted for national monument status, the area has not yet seen approval. It's presently managed by the Bureau Of Land Management and is an easy destination for just about any adventure. @natgeocreative
