@Kkortesurfline just published a great article on Surfline on global hurricane activity in 2014 and what that meant for surf. While many of us will remember names like #Marie and #Gonzalo due to the great tropical swells they produced in the USA, in our opinion the most impressive surf we saw in 2014 came from Tropical Storm #Hagupit just a couple of weeks ago in the Philippines. Here's Cloud 9 on December 6, and here's what LOLA looked like as that swell was hitting. Notice the storm was just north of the area, which led to offshore winds as well.
