PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にPOSTがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。本日はその中から「Come Again」をご紹介いたします。
1999年、写真家ロバート・フランクは、レバノン内戦後の廃墟と化したベイルート市内を5人の写真家とともに訪れました。
現地滞在中、フランクはたくさんのポラロイド写真を撮り数年後、『Come Again』というタイトルをつけ出版されました。
近年フランクは常にポラロイドを使っていますが、本書は彼の初期のポラロイドを使った実験や今まで紹介されることのなかった作家のスケッチブックなどが見られます。

Among the selections, today we would like to introduce "Come Again".
In 1999, Robert Frank went to Beirut on a commission to photograph the city's devastated downtown in the aftermath of the Lebanese civil war, along with 5 other photographers.
He took many polaroid photos during his stay, and after a few years he published this photobook under a title of "Come Again".
Recently he always uses Polaroid, however this photobook also records his experimental polaroids in his early years and his sketchbook, etc.
