This morning, we're remembering Ralph Baer, who transformed Americans' relationship with their TVs by introducing games like Ping-Pong, tennis, checkers, and more. His work led to the game "Odyssey" in 1972, the first home video game for the consumer market. The future founder of Atari played "Odyssey," created "Pong," and the rest is history.
His home workshop will be on display here next summer.

In this photo from 2003, Baer demonstrates his original video game equipment. Baer died on Saturday at age 92.
