This is T-65, a young male tiger living in Ranthambhore National Park in India. We were fortunate to spend about 30 minutes with him as he walked along the park road. Based on our bumpy experience in the jeep, the roads were rocky but apparently not as much as the rest of the landscape. As tough as they are, tigers will avoid rocky terrain because their big paws are quite sensitive. Help celebrate Big Cat Week, part of a campaign that supports conservation and public awareness used to stop poaching reverse population decreases and save habitats of these threatened animals.
