These teams work long hours in extraordinary heat to implement a government order that all deaths in the county be treated as potential Ebola cases. This draconian measure aims to stem transmission of the virus, which often happens during traditional funerals for Ebola victims. King Tom cemetery in Freetown receives an average of 40 bodies per day and is in the process of expanding.
