We enjoy a brief glimpse into their lives as they leap from their underwater realm and take a breath of air from the atmosphere. Dolphins can travel upwards of 100 miles a day, constantly breaching and diving as they travel in search of food. Understanding the vast distances these pods travel and the freedom they enjoy in the wild puts into perspective how unnatural captivity for these mammals is. Their athletic bodies and social bonds are made for a life of travel at sea.
