#ThrowbackThursday In 1960, Leica Camera was contracted by the US Air Force for 20 M2 bodies. Only 10 are believed to still exist today. These M2s were painted grey and were fitted with a viewfinder (35, 50, 90 and 135 framelines) that wasn’t made available until the M4 introduction in 1967.
