Tramp Art: an antiquated art movement that began in the mid-late 1800's.
The "Crown of Thorns" series of Tramp Art used this beautiful woodworking technique where small pieces of wood were whittled by hand (usually w a pocketknife) into layers of geometric shapes that strategically interlocked and held the structure in place. Without nails or glue!
