As if jumping through from downward facing dog to boat pose wasn't hard enough try doing it with straight legs! Yoga blocks can be a great way to start the learning process by making more room for those tight hamstrings. Make sure the blocks you use are firm! If you use a soft block there is a tendency for the pose to collapse into the wrists.
