Photo by @davidalanharvey. This represents the fall mood in the Outer Banks NC. Peace. Tourists are gone, the weather is divine. I live here, have done several NatGeo stories here, and my family all live nearby. While I do travel all over the world for NatGeo and various projects, I do prefer to be right here. My 2 sons living nearby are surfers and kite boarders and do tv documentaries for NatGeo and others. It's a family affair. My daughter in law Michelle pictured here @michellemaddensmith runs art retreats and a yoga studio in the Outer Banks and I do personalised photo workshops for aspiring photographers. I am just back from being all over the place. Nice to get home and get centered a bit. It's a complex compound world out there these days, so its nice to still find a few places of peace....
