We’re thrilled to announce that the spring 2015 Costume Institute exhibition will be “Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film, and Fashion,” on view from May 7 through August 16, 2015. In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, as well as Chinese films to reveal ongoing dialogues between East and West, past and present.
