photo by @chamiltonjames (Charlie Hamilton James) Two North American river otters yesterday. I think mum is the one being leaned on by one of her two cubs. I've been shooting otters on assignment around Jackson Hole and Teton National Park for a special National Geographic magazine issue on the Great Yellowstone eco-system. I found these otters in a small lake right on the edge of Jackson and spent the afternoon with them. Here they are checking me out but they didn't seem to care about me being there.
