#TBT This 1964 flyer from the Guggenheim Archives announces Nam June Paik’s Robot-Opera "….on every streets and squares in New York." Robot-Opera featured Robot K-456 (1964), “a remote controlled robot that played audiotaped speeches by John F. Kennedy and defecated beans.” This Sunday, July 20 marks the anniversary Nam June Paik’s birthday, born 82 years ago. Paik passed away in 2006. ??
