With the morning light streaming in a mother and daughter look at the sculpture by #Kara Walker, "A Subtlety" or the "The Marvelous Sugar Baby". The work which is on public display in the former #DominoSugar factory in #WilliamsburgBK the 75ft long 35 ft high is a colossal sugar-coated sphinx. The work is a homage to the unpaid and enslaved workers who were forced to do back breaking labor to supply the sugar for the worlds sweet tooth.
