Today, 15 people become U.S. citizens at the museum. Why 15? There are 15 stars and 15 stripes on the Star-Spangled Banner. They'll be addressed by Hillary Clinton and recite the Pledge of Allegiance led by Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
They'll also hear from Smithsonian Secretary Wayne Clough and be serenaded by Nashville-based Della Mae, a bluegrass-influenced rock band who served as cultural ambassadors for the State Department during Clinton's tenure.
