Memorial Day might not mean a lot for people in our generation nowadays but I want to send love to my grandfather who fought in ww2 and my father and uncles who were drafted into vietnam. Even though they came home a lot of kids did not. I want to show some love and let them know I'm lucky and I'm proud of them and I didn't have to deal w the same shit as them. A lot of young people take our history for granted these days and a lot of our countries wars have been a bunch of shit, yes, but it's kinda sad to see soldiers out today in small numbers taking part in services I wonder of they realize that we appreciate them .. #Memorialday should make us take a moment to understand people on both sides gave everything for both good and misguided reasons while we sit back and take it easy.. everyday young Americans are killed and are turned into killers for no good reason..maybe so our country can feel safe ... Also recognize the hundred of thousands of people that die as a result of our countries actions . ??
