urdhva dhanurasana variation (one-legged upward bow)

start by lying on your back. bend knees and place feet flat on floor (hip-width distance) with heels close to sit bones. flip palms and place them close to ears.
from core of your pelvis, root down through legs and into feet. tuck tailbone and firm buttocks, keeping feet parallel and knees hip distance apart. lift hips up and come to the crown of head. root shoulder blades onto the back and push through hands and feet to come up to bow pose. play with raising one leg up at a time towards the sky.
