A Year with Children 2014, our annual exhibition of work by New York City public school students participating in our education residency program Learning Through Art (LTA) opens today in our Annex Level 3 gallery. Founded in response to the elimination of art and music programs in public schools, LTA partners teaching artists with classroom educators in each of the city’s five boroughs to design collaborative projects that explore art and ideas related to the classroom curriculum.
