#Vicksburg, #Mississippi. Above the field of battle, overlooking the Battery De Golyer, is a monument modeled after the Roman #Pantheon. And in the dome of that building there is this circle of light. The #Oculus. It's the most beautiful thing I've seen in 4 days - since I stood facing the sea.
