Hey fellow art fans, @richburnsred_art here again with another not-on-instagram artist/artists feature. This one is insanely cool!! Sorry for the completely awful pun, but It's no lie, how amazing is this! If you are not too clued up on your Transformers...this is an ice sculpture of Optimus Prime, and it is just epic! It was sculpted and by two very talented artists, Antti Pedrozo from Finland, and Dutch artist Michel de kok. The latter (de kok) specialises in sand, snow and ice sculpting and he is very.....VERY good! You can see more of his fabulous creations on his website www.micheldekok.net. Seriously worth a look, my mind was officially blown.
Pedrozo is equally talented, however his website is currently under construction, so your best bet is to google image his name. Hope you enjoy this amazing work as much as I do!
Here is a question for you though ....what do you think of such a temporary art form? How would you feel when your hard work melts/crumbles away? I don't think I could handle it haha.
