On offer tomorrow in #HongKong: 'The Red Emperor,' a Magnificent Burmese Ruby and Diamond #Necklace set with 60 Pigeon’s Blood Rubies totaling 104.51 carats.

Collecting the #ruby rough that would become The Red Emperor began in 1905 and took a century to complete. Cutting and polishing the rubies then took an additional eight years.
