#tbt: American heiress Barbara Hutton at the Metropolitan Opera in 1933, wearing the famed Hutton-Mdivani jadeite necklace, comprising 27 gigantic Qing jadeite beads reputedly from the Imperial Court. The necklace will be on public exhibition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3-6 April and will be offered on 7 April with an estimate in excess of $12.8 million. #SothebysJewels
