B is for Blow-Up

For a film so evocative of the British capital, Blow-Up, Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 cinematic portrait of Swinging London, features very few in the way of recognisable landmarks. The park where the film’s dashing fashion photographer, Thomas (David Hemmings) unwittingly snaps a murder scene isn’t Hyde or Regent’s Park, but the lesser-visited Maryon Park in Charlton, Southeast London.
